Dr. George DaiCEO & Lab Director
Dr. George Dai is the founder of GD Air Testing, Inc. As president and CEO, Dr. Dai is responsible for the company’s overall daily operations, business development, customer service, QA/QC, and all air related research projects. Dr. Dai interacts with clients to determine their specific testing needs, equipment set up, reviewing the data, and consulting with the clients on their individual project requirements. DR. Dai has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, and successfully has managed several air monitoring laboratories and countless air testing projects, both in the US and China.

As an environmental specialist and scientist, Dr. Dai has over forty years of experience in environmental monitoring station design, set up, operation, sampling, analysis, and laboratory management. Dr. Dai is especially familiar with and has strong hands on experience in air sampling, bio remediation sampling and analysis of all fields of methodologies by the US EPA, US NIOSH, and US-OSHA, including EPA TO methods, US EPA TO-1, TO-2, TO-3, TO-4, TO-5, TO-8, TO-9, TO-10, TO-11, TO-12, TO-13, TO-14A, and TO-15. Dr. Dai also has more than thirty years of experience on bio remediation analysis especially in dissolved gases analysis. Dr. Dai also has hands-on experience on GC/MS, GC/FID/ECD/PID/ELCD, and HPLC Dr. Dai is a leading expert in instrument setup, maintenance and trouble shooting. Dr. Dai has also successfully designed, operated, managed the Environmental Monitoring Station, Sampling Team, and Analysis Group to achieve the success of multiple Multi-Million-dollar Environmental Projects in the past thirty years.

John
John has been working in the environmental field since 1992. He has a BA in Biology from UT Austin. John started working with GDAT in 2001. He immediately received his mold certification from the McCrone Institute, and has been heading up the laboratory mold department since that time. John is involved in a multitude of tasks. He is in charge of the QA/QC department, and is our compliance officer when dealing with TCEQ accreditation requirements. John also acts as a project manager, and handles some of the lab’s largest customers.
